This August, the Cervera Museum resumes theatrical visits “A little Museu”, that start on Saturday 6, them 20 hours, with the discovery of medieval Cervera by Margarida, slave of Menarguens. Capacity is limited and prior reservations must be made at reserva@museudecervera.cat.

Tickets must be picked up in advance at the Museum, during opening hours.

“A little Museu” it is a project that has a vindictive character in terms of gender. The protagonists are three women who represent not only three historical moments, but three social conditions. In medieval times, Margaret was the wife of Mr. Menàrguens slave. Regina, the protagonist of the Jewish Cervera, was part of a prominent family in the city, the Quercia. In the eighteenth century, Ignatius Brach, better known as NASA Tabaco, ran a tavern in the rigid Cervera university.

The dramatized visits invite you to follow the journey of the commissions through the main street by the hand of Margarida d’en Menàrguens (the medieval Cervera, he 6 d'agost); to learn about the social renunciations to which Regina is forced as the widow of Issach de Quercí (the Jewish Beer, he 13 d'agost); and experience the beginning of the academic year at the University with the taverna Nasa Tabaco (the baroque Cervera, he 20 d'agost).
