There are only a few weeks left until the start of performances of La Passion de Cervera, that on sunday 14 of January has announced some of the novelties of this edition.

On the one hand, this year's image has been officially presented. A poster made by Cervera designer Anna Domenjó. The artist argues that he has made a poster that he defines as "more impactful and advertising". Based on an image of a very specific scene from the Passion (the hanging of Judas), an attempt has been made to simplify the image to the maximum expression, without losing the representation of the scene. This way, only the baselines have been left, while looking for the lights and shadows (just like the biblical story, the good/positive part and the saddest/negative part).

Regarding the color, have been used 4 colors plans, like spots, sense shadows, thus giving the scene a more marked forcefulness. The lighter colors, light blue and yellow, mark the lights of the image. The dark blue, the shadows. The white highlights the expression of the character: the hand, the face and the rope around the neck (which would become the most important part of the scene). The red color of the background, apart from highlighting and highlighting the central image, comes to represent blood as life, the strength.

Anna Domenjó is a higher technician in Plastic Arts and Design in Advertising Graphics since the year 2OOO. He has done numerous works, among which stand out those carried out for the Catalan Heritage Agency, the Network of Museums of History and Monuments of Catalonia, the Regional Museum of Cervera and also by the Balaguer Museum, the Cervera Easter Festival, etc.
