The 5th edition of the Carnival of Secà, dedicated to the circus with the slogan "Pentafestum", was again successful participation: with 14 groups and 9 batucada groups, formed by more than 500 people, rhythm that filled the streets and party Cervera.

This year's parade, begins to University Square, ended in Piazza Pio XII, where they held exhibitions, Proclamation of the Queen of Carnival, awards and concerts. In previous years these acts were done in the main square, but have moved to the Plaza Pius XII because it has more capacity and improves the security of the party.

This year the festival also had a caring side. The organizer, Carnival Association Secà, allocates 10% benefits the Humane Shelter Segarra Cervera.
With five editions, Secà Carnival has become an essential event of the summer Cervera and participation increases every year.
