The Paeria de Cervera received, Thursday 14 March, the institutional visit of the Consul General of France to Barcelona, Olivier Ramadour, who participated in a working day with the Municipal Council and representatives of the economic and commercial sectors of the city.

They participated in the day 12 local businessmen, who maintained an exchange of experiences with the representatives of the French State. The meeting resulted in business contacts and proposals for future cultural and economic exchanges between the two parties.

The Consul General of France, Olivier Ramadour, he came accompanied by the director general of the French Chamber of Commerce in Barcelona, Christian Marion. They met with the vice president of the Lleida Chamber of Commerce, Pompili Roger; the president of the Cervera Business Association, Rebecca Abella; the president of the Association of Merchants, Ester Pallarés, and representatives of 12 companies of the municipality.
On behalf of the Paeria de Cervera, the father in chief attended, Jan Pomés; the councilor for Economic Promotion, Raimond Fusté; and councilors Ramon Augé, Antonio Delgado, Montse Closa and Joan Santacana.

According to the paer in chief, Jan Pomés, "the meeting with the French representation was the first of the cycle of contacts that the Paeria de Cervera intends to maintain with the neighboring states of the European Union".
