A Passion Medieval immersive and faithful to the original sixteenth century
The dramatic reconstruction of the Passion Medieval, just over two hours, is so true that transports the viewer directly to medieval times. The function is performed in the same place where it was made: Parish of Santa Maria de Cervera. the he·Lighting is also completely natural, proceeding the windows of the Church during the afternoon and beeswax candles. The text is also recited in ancient Catalan from the original 1534 and recovered in the twentieth century by Augustine and Sanpere Duran Duran and his daughter Eulalia Grau. A text has been revised and adapted by Pep Montserrat Oriol Bridge. simultaneously, costumes and scenery also faithfully reproduces the time after an exhaustive research of the labor Alba Cuneo. Even there has been intensive work to bring the Parish medieval music live and medievalist musicologist Daniel Vilarrúbias, from the manuscript annotations, analyzed which parts of the drama were set to music. This way, the viewer moves directly into the medieval atmosphere in a unique and totally immersive experience for one of the most important passages and acquaintances history.
