St. Isidore's Day, one of the most ingrained traditions in Cervera, will be held on Sunday 15 May with the organization of all the usual activities: farmers breakfast, ringing of bells, loose, tractor parade, fraternity lunch and exhibition of agricultural machinery.

The pandemic forced the party to be suspended for a year 2020, while the 2021 only the parade of tractors and floats through the streets of the city could be held.

This year the Paeria de Cervera can recover the full program, in which it is necessary to emphasize the lunch of brotherhood, which will be held in the multipurpose pavilion with limited attendance at 200 people.

The program also includes a performance from the “Get Passed” Theater Series. This is the representation of "Chimpanzee", them 19 hours, the Grand Theater of the Passion,

 

According to the Councilor for Economic Promotion, Ramon Augé, "We are satisfied that St. Isidore's Day recovers all the activities and becomes the traditional meeting point of the peasantry of Cervera and region".
The celebration of Sant Isidre, Sunday 15 May, will be the prelude to a new edition of the Bread and Cereal Fair, which will take place in the days 21 i 22 May in University Square.
The programming of the Fair, which will also include activities in the Union building, will be presented at a press conference next Tuesday 10 May.
