Cervera recovers the essence of music with the 40th edition of the Emili Pujol Chair

This year marks the 40th edition, figure that demonstrates its importance in the music world. It is one of the most important events in the Catalan cultural and pedagogical field. Over four decades, hundreds of students are trained intensively for a week in Cervera, deepening their mastery of the musical instrument.

The Emili Pujol Chair will once again host, of the 9 al 19 July, the International Music Course and Festival and the Lutiers Fair, three complementary events that make this experience unique.

The Festival will present eight concerts, in which several guitar performances stand out, the OJC wind formation, the JONC, the concerts of the teachers of the Music Course or the recital of the popular Judit Neddermann, others.

More than a hundred students will take part in the course, which fill all the places available for this edition. They will receive the mastery of 16 teachers specializing in their instrument.

The Lutiers Fair will bring together master craftsmen and people interested in their art on Sunday 11 July at the Auditorium. It will feature guitars and activities, guided tour and workshops.
