Feminist Self-Defense Workshop

The Council for Equality of La Paeria de Cervera organizes various activities to commemorate the 25 November, International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
Among the initiatives, es lasts due sessions of a FEMINIST SELF-DEFENSE WORKSHOP, he 15 of November and the 12 December, from 18.30 a 20.30, at the Municipal Auditorium, by Ana Jorge Herrero.
In this workshop, we will share tools, strategies and techniques to defend ourselves from the various forms of male violence, with the aim of empowering us both individually and collectively·school.
The activity is aimed at women and/or trans and non-binary people over the age of 18 years, or that they come accompanied by a tutor.
To participate, it is essential to make one prior registration by sending an email to politiquesfeministes@cervera.cat (places are limited and will be allocated in order of registration).
From Monday 18 November, plums can be collected free of charge at the reception of the Paeria de Cervera. We make the protest visible and hang the domás in your house!
Besides, has been created “WEAVING NETWORKS” CAMPAIGN: SPACES TO FIGHT AGAINST MALE VIOLENCE IN CERVERA”. This campaign will highlight how the community can be actively involved in the prevention and response to gender-based violence, highlighting the importance of local networks, community alliances and concrete actions to combat this chakra.
